Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Summary: AADLab Vigil does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no network requests, and no analytics. Everything runs on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no sign-up, no login, no data-collection endpoint, and no telemetry. We do not gather your name, email, device identifier, usage patterns, or any other personally identifying or non-identifying information.

What is stored on your device

The app stores small preference files locally, only on your device, so your settings persist between sessions:

  • Your chosen language
  • Your haptic feedback preference
  • Your background and theme choices
  • Your last-used device state (mode, units, altitude correction, display orientation)

These never leave your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Location and motion

The app may ask for location (while in use) and motion access. These are used only on your device to power an optional animated background: a compass that shows dropzone bearings from where you are and responds to phone tilt. The readings are not stored, not transmitted, and not collected. Declining these permissions does not affect any training feature.

Third parties

None. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no social sign-in.

Network access

The app does not require an internet connection to function and makes no network requests of its own. If your device happens to be online, AADLab Vigil still makes no outbound calls.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for users of all ages and, because it collects nothing, is compliant by design with children's online privacy regulations including COPPA and GDPR-K.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and note the change in the "Last updated" date. The live version is always at this URL.
