What it is
The device interface, button for button, without a unit on your bench.
Getting fluent with an AAD is quickest when you can rehearse freely. AADLab Vigil recreates the Vigil 2 Cuatro dot-matrix display, the button press, the self-test, and the full configuration flow, so you can practise at home, on the plane, or between jumps without ever touching a live unit.

The simulator renders the Vigil's low-resolution dot-matrix LCD and reacts the way the real unit does: every display transition, every self-test message, every mode marker is modelled after the Vigil 2 Cuatro.

Glassmorphism layers
Translucent pills and cards over a deep gradient, so information feels lifted off the surface.
Spring animations
Every transition uses physics-based motion with staggered entry. Nothing snaps, nothing lags.
Haptic feedback
Four intensity levels on iPhone's Taptic Engine, and a simple on/off toggle on Android.
Customisable backgrounds
Calm, animated backdrops you can tune to taste. Dark by default, with light mode a tap away.

On-device labels follow the conventions skydivers actually use, so what you learn here is what you will see at the DZ. Portuguese is included for regions with a Portuguese Vigil manual.

AADLab Vigil runs entirely on your device. There is no sign-up, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Your language, your settings, your last-used device state are stored on your phone, nowhere else.
